Mr. Robert L. Moody, Jr. is a fifth generation Moody. His family has owned or managed the insurance, banking, and ranching industry for many years all throughout Texas. The Moody Family is well known throughout Galveston Island, Texas and is a strong supporter of community interests.
Robert L. Moody, Jr. is the Owner of Moody Insurance Group, Inc. (a privately owned insurance agency) founded by Mr. Moody in 1986. Mr. Moody serves as President and Director of Moody Insurance Group, Inc. currently and plays a very important role in marketing products to a hierarchy of agents in the health, annuity, accident, and life insurance industry nationally. Mr. Moody has developed a stable company that meets the demands and product flexibility needs of the insurance agent so that they may meet the ever-changing needs of their clients. Through this insurance agency experience, Mr. Moody is able to bring valuable insight from the agent’s perspective to the various boards that he serves upon. Mr. Moody serves as an Advisory Board Member and Director of Moody National Bank, HomeTown Bank, National Association (National Bank) and the Moody Endowment (Charitable Organization).
Mr. Moody believes in the American way of life and old fashioned family values. He is dedicated to making the business world an equitable place to conduct business. He believes in fighting for the underdog if necessary, being fair and just in all business practices, and dealing with people whose word still means something. Marketing and New Business Director for Multiple Line Life and Health Brokerage
Jennifer is the National Marketing Director for multiple line agents for Moody Insurance Group. She majored in Marine Biology from Texas A&M University and began her career in sales and marketing while working in an wholesale facility specializing in the aquaculture of tropical ornamental fish. From there, she was able to discover her talents in graphic design along with creative sales and marketing techniques.
Jennifer is here to provide an outlet for health with ancillary products like, disability, long term care, group benefits, and most importantly, impaired risk life insurance alternatives for substandard cases for Moody Insurance and American National Multiple Line agents through our partnered alliances.
Juan R. Benitez (Tato)
New Business Development and Hispanic Marketing Consultant
Mr. Benitez aids Moody Insurance Group with business development through content, product knowledge, and strategic sales specifically designed for the rapidly growing Hispanic market. Originally from Puerto Rico where his family was the first to introduce him to the world of insurance, Tato soon expanded his horizons along with his career. He truly became immersed in the industry after graduating from Boston College and becoming highly experienced in sales, recruiting, and training.
Tato is ready to help Spanish speaking agents and agencies appeal to the needs of their communities with an array of top-notch products and guidance.
Internal Wholesaler for ANTEX and SLAICO
Susan is an Internal Wholesaler for Moody Insurance Group, Inc. representing American National Insurance Company of Texas (ANTEX) & American National Health Division (SLAICO). She is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and has worked in the oil and gas industries as well as in the non-profit sector. Susan has experience in contract administration and materials management and enjoys musical studies as a classically trained vocalist.
When she’s not singing in Latin and Italian, Susan recruits new agents and aids with illustrations and administration.
Internal Wholesaler for Life and Annuities
Craig Cahill has over twenty years of experience in the finance and insurance profession. He’s worked closely with individual investors, families, and small businesses to help them reach their personal and professional financial goals. Craig extensively grew his clientele during the “dot com era” by educating, guiding, and advising clients through that difficult time. Craig’s unique ability to translate complex information to his clients helped propel his career. Thus, he was able to realize his preferred focus on research and education of financial instruments.
Throughout this period, Craig mentored new advisors helping to set them on their professional paths of success. The mentor role proved to be particularly rewarding for Craig and helped him realize his true passion for educating others. Now, he will be extending this unique talent to all our agents at Moody Insurance Group.
